Purpose and Use

CLASS 6 indicator strips are designed for use in steam sterilisation cycles:

  • 121 °C – 15 minutes
  • 134 °C – 3.5 minutes

These cycle verification indicators can be placed in every sterilisation pack and ensure:

  • steam penetration into the pack interior,
  • presence of all critical sterilisation parameters,
  • correct completion of the steam sterilisation cycle.

Colour Change – Clear and Reliable

Water-based, non-toxic chemical indicator complying with ISO 11140-1 standard. After a successful sterilisation cycle, it clearly changes colour from blue to olive (lilac). This allows quick and accurate assessment of sterilisation results without additional equipment.
