Nitrile or acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) is a material made from organic chemical compounds. The manufacturing process for this material has been modified so it can compete with natural rubber. Nitrile gloves are an ideal alternative to gloves made from natural materials, often referred to as synthetic latex gloves.
