The device operates with extremely short light pulses, measured in picoseconds. The pulses penetrate deep into the skin, creating a photoacoustic effect: pigment dyes and pigmented spots are mechanically broken down, but the skin is not overheated. This increases procedure safety and reduces the risk of post-procedure complications.

Compared to traditional nanosecond lasers, the BR-59 operates with shorter pulses and is less invasive – recovery time is shorter, and the photoacoustic effect allows more precise targeting of specific areas.

  • Tattoo and permanent makeup removal
    • The device is suitable for removing tattoos of various colours, including difficult-to-remove pigments – green and blue.
    • Laser precision allows removal of permanent makeup in sensitive facial areas.

    • During the procedure, a carbon mask is applied to the skin and exposed to laser light.

  • 532 nm filter – small areas
    • Suitable for removal of light tattoos (red, brown) in smaller areas – precise targeting of tattoo outlines or details.

    • Designed for dark tattoos (black, grey, dark blue) in smaller areas – precise detail removal in finger or wrist areas.

Contraindications

Picosecond laser procedures are not recommended:

  • During pregnancy and breastfeeding;
  • With active skin infections;
  • With increased sensitivity to light or when taking photosensitising medications;
  • In patients with skin conditions in the treatment area (e.g. eczema, psoriasis);
  • With active suppurative processes or open wounds.
